Chrissie Sue was instrumental in helping plan and execute the Bat Mitzvah of my daughter's dreams!  She was very particular about what she want and didn't want, Chrissie Sue took that in and created an event that was perfectly 'her'.  In terms of the details and the planning, she had everything well under control and it was clear she is a master of her trade.  She negotiated contracts, was receptive to ideas and late adds, was accommodating with my 13 year old (no easy task) and was hands on for all events leading up to, and the Bat Mitzvah party itself.  She was calm, cool and collected and takes great pride in her work.  When there was a small snafu after the party she worked through it until we were completely satisfied with the result.  5 stars!

The first thing I knew we needed to do when we began to plan for my daughters Bat Mitzvah was hire Chrissie Sue. She was indispensable to us as we navigated our son's Bar Mitzvah in 2020 and as soon as we knew the date, I booked her to help us with my daughter's event as well. Chrissie Sue took our somewhat vague ideas and helped us weave them together to create "not a theme" but a cohesive look and feel that was both stunning and very much my daughter. In our regular meetings Chrissie Sue was eager to share ideas and help us drill down on what we really wanted. There’s not enough stars or positive words to describe how truly amazing Chrissie Sue is. We had a particularly difficult venue to work with and hired her the month before our wedding to handle last minute communication with the venue and vendors and she did just that and more. Our venue almost canceled the wedding the night before the big day and Chrissie Sue pulled off some magic, advocated for us and made it happen. We literally wouldn’t have had a wedding without her! She also made sure all of our decor was packed up at the end of the night when the venue decided we could no longer come back the next day for it. We cannot say enough good things about Chrissie Sue and her event staff! Our day flowed seamlessly thanks to her careful execution and planning with us ahead of time. We chose the ‘Be There’ service since we felt we could handle much of the initial prep work and it was the perfect fit. We had a series of touchpoints where Chrissie Sue had answers to questions we didn’t even know we had and she always made herself available to make sure we were set up for success. On the big day, her and her assistant were incredibly efficient setting up décor, checking in on the wedding party, and adjusting as needed to make the space as beautiful as possible. Her level of professionalism and organization meant that no detail was overlooked and by the end of the night, décor was already packed back in bins to be taken home which was such a relief after such a long day. Hiring Chrissie Sue was one of the best decisions I made while planning my November 2022 wedding in the Boston area! Chrissie Sue provided both month-of and day-of services. About six months prior to the wedding, I started to have monthly calls with Chrissie Sue. During the calls, we reviewed a Google doc Chrissie Sue shared where I populated details of the wedding as vendors were booked and other elements were planned. These calls were very helpful in that they kept me on track during the planning process and gave me an opportunity to ask questions of a highly experienced wedding planner. About a month prior to the wedding, we shifted to weekly calls. (I will also note that during these months Chrissie Sue made herself available for additional calls as things came up and was very responsive via email!) Chrissie Sue coordinated directly with our vendors in the lead up to the wedding, and she also joined our walk through at the reception venue with the caterer and the rehearsal at the church where we had our ceremony. On the day of the wedding, Chrissie Sue and her assistant did a beautiful job setting up the venue exactly how I requested. My mother did my flowers and we had a number of other personal design elements, and I was extremely pleased with how the venue was set up. Chrissie Sue did a great job coordinating the day-of logistics related to transportation, as we hosted the ceremony and reception at separate venues that required guests to be bussed. More generally, she was an excellent coordinator across several vendors on the day of the wedding, as our reception venue rental was only for the space and we had to bring in several vendors. Overall, my husband, our families, and I were able to completely enjoy the wedding and were not at all concerned about logistical elements, which might not have been the case had I not had Chrissie Sue's support. I absolutely would recommend Chrissie Sue to anyone who is planning a wedding in the Boston area!

Simply stated, Chrissie Sue is incredible. We connected for an informational phone call, and I hired her immediately. I knew that it would be the best decision that I made for the event, and I was absolutely correct. Our eldest daughter’s Bat Mitzvah was cancelled due to the pandemic, and I was left with a house full of centerpieces and decorations, and ideas with no sense of where to start. When it was time to plan our twins’ B’Not Mitzvah celebration, I wanted to celebrate all three kids and create a welcoming, warm environment, where our guests could exhale and leave the world behind for a few hours. Chrissie Sue came to my home, went through my inventory of supplies, and helped me craft my vision. Our event was the first time we had seen most of our family and friends in two years, and Chrissie Sue helped me create a space where everyone could laugh, relax, and, most importantly, reconnect. Our guests couldn’t believe that I made everything in that room-I couldn’t have done it without Chrissie Sue’s guidance, vision, humor, and patience. I was not a crafty person before this event, but Chrissie Sue cheered me on and kept me going, and she picked me up and dusted me off when I got frustrated. The ballroom was absolutely gorgeous-she made sure that the hotel had photos and diagrams for setting up the centerpieces and side tables, and it was all executed perfectly. It has been four months since our event, and people are still talking about it. My kids said it was “epic” and “the best party ever”. My husband and I were able to enjoy the evening, dance, eat, and collect some long overdue hugs. It was a perfect evening in every way, thanks to the amazing Chrissie Sue! Chrissie Sue’s attention to detail, her ability to talk me through the stress and manage time constraints…it wouldn’t have been a successful event without her. Chrissie Sue helped us create memories with family and friends that we will never forget. I am so grateful for her! When my daughters get engaged, Chrissie Sue will be the first person that I call!
